stuckUP vs HubSpot AEO Grader: what AI knows, or who it recommends

By Narek Nikoghosyan, founder of stuckUPPrices checked

The short answer

Both are free to try. HubSpot’s AEO Grader asks AI what it knows about your brand, from its training data, and scores the answer. stuckUP asks AI the questions your customers ask, with live web search, and shows whether you’re recommended, who is named instead and what to fix on your website.

Pick stuckUP if

  • You want to know if AI recommends you when customers ask for a business like yours
  • You want to see who is named instead, and which sites AI trusts
  • You want fixes for your website, and tracking from $29 a month

HubSpot’s grader is worth it if

  • You want a quick read on how AI describes your brand
  • Your brand is known well beyond one city
  • You already use HubSpot for marketing

The main difference

HubSpot’s grader is a good, quick way to see how AI talks about a brand it already knows. Because it reads the models’ training data, it says most about well-known brands and little about what happens when a customer searches.

A local customer doesn’t ask AI about your brand. They ask “best dentist near me” or “where to eat in the old town”, and AI searches the web for the answer. stuckUP asks those questions, shows who gets recommended and why, and what to change on your site. The first check is free.

Questions

Is HubSpot’s AEO Grader free?

Yes. It’s a free one-time check: you enter your company name, location, industry and product, and fill in a short form to see the full results. Ongoing tracking is HubSpot AEO, $50 a month or included in Marketing Hub Pro and Enterprise.

Why are my scores different in the two tools?

They measure different things. HubSpot’s grader asks AI about your brand and scores what it knows; stuckUP asks the questions customers ask, with web search, and scores how often you’re named. AI can know a brand well and still not recommend it for “best … in [city]”.

Do I need HubSpot to use stuckUP?

No. stuckUP works on its own: enter your website and get your UP Score in about two minutes, with no signup.

Can I use both?

Yes. HubSpot’s grader shows how AI describes your brand; stuckUP shows whether AI recommends you when customers ask, and what to fix. Together they answer both questions.
